Ms. Cotton graduated from East Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Child Development/Family Relations and a minor in English. She also received a Masters in Educational Leadership from Cambridge College.  She has taught English, Social Studies, and Math at the middle and high school levels.  Ms. Cotton has been an employee of Norfolk Public School for sixteen years where she has taught at Madison Alternative School, Norview Middle School, and currently, is a Dean of Students at Azalea Gardens Middle School.
